Prediction of IPL Eliminator Team 2021

The IPL is on its way and it is going to be the most watched tournament for sure. As of now we have seen the teams play out half of their games or there and there abouts. So, it is a race for the top 4 in the points table. Here is our Match prediction on who would be the teams that are going to make it to the top 4 here.

The IPL format is such that the Top 4 teams are going to face off in the qualifier and the eliminator. The teams which finish 1 and 2 are going to be playing in the qualifier. The team that wins this particular game is going to go straight to the finals while the team that loses gets one more crack at the final. The eliminator takes place in the 3rd and 4th spot and the team that loses here is going to go home straight. Once the qualifier loser is decided, the winner of the eliminator face each other in a game which is going to decide which team is going to face the winner of the qualifier in the finals. This time around the IPL is going to be played in two phases and that will be a major factor in the decision because there are many teams which may not be comfortable with the games being played in UAE. The slow and low pitches may not end up supporting them and they would have been better off playing in India. Going on the present scenario though we are going to now analyze the four teams who we think will be the final 4 out here

Chennai Super Kings – The CSK team has had quite the series so far. They have also had a brilliant start to the UAE leg of the tournament with them winning their first game against the MI team. This gets them to the top of the table with there being 6 games left. The games left would still keep them in a tight spot as they historically don’t do well in UAE but even if they win a couple of games here, they should be pretty much assured of a spot in the top 4. They would also look at the top 2 to have another bite at the cherry. You expect MS Dhoni to deliver nothing else

Delhi Capitals – Having finalized their captain to be Rishabh Pant have been performing brilliantly here and have historically done really well in the UAE. They were also the finalists last time around and having won 6 out of their 8 games in the IPL so far, they would also be looking at a performance which would see them be in and around the first and second spot. They have been looking to get their hands on their maiden trophy and would want nothing else

Royal Challengers Bangalore- Virat Kohli has announced that this is going to be his final season as the captain in the RCB will be now motivated a lot more to do well here in the tournament. They are currently in the third spot but would look to get themselves in the top 2 spot. They do look a little out of sorts for now but will surely look to get back and be in the top 4

Mumbai Indians – The 5-time champions are known to drag it down to the wire and they would be expected to do the same. They are going to be there and there abouts in the top 4 and will be surely looking at this season to extend their championship reign to 6.
